This Mewa aircraft has now been repaired by Aero-Kros after a wheels up landing at Gdansk in 2010. At that time it was flying with SG registration SN-50YG.

It has now been decided that the aircraft and helicopters of the Starz Graniczna will operate with Polish civil registrations - the first aircraft to be re-registered as such is this Mewa which is now operating as SP-VSA.
Note that the "SP-V...." registration sequence range has never been issued before.
This Mewa was originally delivered in the 1990s to 103 PL with serial "215" operating from Bemow airfield Warsaw. In 2001 it was transferred to the Starz Graniczna with serial PL-50YG and based at Gdansk - this was then changed in 2003 to become serial SN-50YG
The Starz Graniczna operate a mixed fleet of aircraft from bases around the borders of Poland such as Wilga 2000, Kania, W-3 Sokol and M-28 Skytruck.
